Abdullah Meyson defended all WBO titles in a close fight, beating Albert Bell technically in the 12th round. The fight ended in the evening in Volshten-Centre in Cleveland, when Ogaio.
Meyson, who entered the ring as the underdog, came out of Bedford, Ogaio, and, after the first fight, was able to show that he was the strongest. After the first three rounds, he won two out of three judges’ scorecards.
According to the judges’ cards, Meyson won by points: in the 12th round, he defeated Bell with two knockdowns. Referee Mark Nelson counted Bell’s fall without a knockdown for 45 seconds in the 12th round.
Before the start of the 12th round, Meyson was ahead on the scorecards: 106-103, 107-102 and 107-102. For Bell, there would be no chance to continue; he was losing, and the referee stopped the fight.
The material also notes that Bell was in Toledo, Ogaio, and had traveled to Meyson’s place. After the fight, the boxer was taken to the hospital. Meyson’s next fight will be held in the United States.
Meyson proved his first title, which he won with unanimous decision over Sem Noksom in Er-Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the first round. Bell, with his own corner, entered the ring with a score of 25 wins.
After the bout, Meyson said in his interview that he planned to keep his opponent under pressure and also noted that he would win by knockout.
