Bukovyna plan to return home stadium in Chernivtsi this season of the UPL

Bukovyna president Andriy Safronyak said that, as he put it, the club’s plan is to start the UPL season in Chernivtsi on the home stadium.

Meanwhile, he said that the work on the arena has not yet been completed, and that this winter, the optimistic forecast is that the work on the home stadium will be finished by 2026, while the worst-case scenario is that it will be completed as late as the 2027 season.

Safronyak, commenting on the situation, said that the club needs to complete the work on the home stadium before the start of the season, and added that all Bukovyna matches could be played in Chernivtsi.

He also said that the work is ongoing, and that it will be possible to start the UPL season on the home stadium in Chernivtsi if the work is completed in time.
