In Tehran, a mourning procession is passing through for Iran’s spiritual leader Ali Khamenei, who died earlier.

According to the Reuters report, the transfer of the body is described as: “The funeral of the martyr.”

It is said that, at the time of the procession, the participants walked through Iranian streets in a solemn silence, with the black hearse carrying the body of the spiritual leader.

The procession is also expected to continue through the streets of Tehran. According to the information, the participants will walk through the city’s main streets, and the hearse will travel along a route planned for the transfer.

After the procession ends in Tehran, it will move to Qom, where it will be held until Thursday. Then it will be transferred to Iran, to Mashhad.

In total, the procession is expected to last several days.
