On Sunday, the psychologist and family counselor Petr Šmolka died. He was 80 years old. He died with his wife Mihał.

According to the ČT24 and České noviny reports, Šmolka was known for his work with couples and for his books on the topic of family counseling. He wrote about how to handle disagreements and preserve relationships. For many years, he worked with people who were struggling with problems in their marriages.

Šmolka was born in 1946 in Prague. He worked as a psychologist, and he was also known for his work with couples. He graduated from Charles University in 1969, and then he began practicing as a psychologist. Since 1978, he has worked as a marriage counselor, and he was known for his help to people in difficult situations; he also wrote about it in his books.
