Dallas Mavericks have reportedly signed forward Naji Marshall to a three-year contract, according to a league source. The league source said the total value of the deal is $52.5 million, while ESPN’s sources indicate $52.2 million.

According to ESPN, the agreement is guaranteed for Marshall through the 2029-30 season. Why Dallas Mavericks approved the deal without guarantees remains unclear.

Marshall’s contract with the Mavericks is set at 15.2 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. In the two following seasons with Dallas, the figures are expected to be 14.3 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists.

According to ESPN, another season with Dallas Marshall could be worth a maximum of $52.5 million, depending on incentives and performance-based bonuses. The material also notes that the player can reach 30+ points in a game, as was the case in two of the season’s games.

As Mavericks general manager Masai Ujiri said, Naji Marshall could be a player who would fit the team’s needs, and also has a concrete gravity that would influence the team’s ability to play together.
