- Rupert Lowe says that reviewing the King’s status is necessary if the monarchy is to be supported by a “white Briton,” as he put it, during an appearance on BBC Radio 4 Today.
- Lowe’s comments were made in response to a question about whether the “white Briton” should be defined in terms of the “white Briton” being a person who could be considered for a monarchy, in line with the idea that the monarchy should be based on a “white Briton.”
- Lowe also accused the BBC of “whitewashing” and argued that DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) policies could be linked to the financial censorship of language, adding that the discussion was “quite clear” and that Britain’s “white” population was being reduced.
Rupert Lowe, the leader of Restore Britain, said he was repeating claims made by BBC Nick Robinson, arguing that the King’s status is “about a white Briton” (in “British terms, with the idea of ‘white’ coming first”). During an interview, he referred to ZMJ, saying it was “quite clear” and that he believed the BBC’s programme was “whitewashing” and that the “experience” was “quite clear,” while adding that he thought Britain’s “white” population was being reduced.
Speaking on the programme, Rupert Lowe said that “white Briton” means a person, and that this is the reason why the monarchy is “about a white Briton.” He said that, based on the material, the King’s status is not justified by the idea that the King is “white,” and that this is why the BBC “whitewashing” should be discussed. He also said that he had heard the phrase “experience” and that it was “quite clear,” adding that he believed Britain’s “white” population had been reduced.
In the interview, Lowe said that he would like to see the monarchy’s status reviewed. He said that he was making the argument that the BBC’s “whitewashing” of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) was linked to the “defund the BBC” idea, and that the programme should be discussed in relation to the platform X of Elon Musk.
However, he said that the interview was about how the discussion should be held between Reform UK and Restore Britain. He added that he would not support the idea of a monarchy based on “white British people” and that this could mean that the number of “white British people” in the United Kingdom could be reduced to 2063. He also said that he had read a book by Matt Guldwin, which he said was published by Reform UK.
