Japanese company Nintendo expects sales of its Switch 2 console in the first fiscal year ending in 2027, with the company also expecting to sell the console during that period. Based on the company’s forecast, Switch 2 sales in the first fiscal year will range from 53.5% to 147.4 billion yen (933 million dollars), which is 96 billion yen in the previous year.

Nintendo said it expects the console’s sales to account for 9.5% to 517.8 billion yen (3.3 billion dollars). The material also notes that the company’s forecast indicates that the company’s sales will be driven by three factors: the United States, and the company’s own analysis of the market’s development.

For Nintendo, sales of the Switch 2 in the fiscal year ending in 2027 are expected to reach 310 billion yen (2 billion dollars), which would be 27% more than the previous year. The company also expects revenue from other games to rise by 11% to 2.05 trillion yen (13 billion dollars).

In addition, Nintendo expects that Switch 2 sales will reach 3.82 million units.
