Death in Nimetschina: Farhad N. was sentenced to life for killing Verdi

In Nimetschina, a court in Mykhenni sentenced Farhad N. to life imprisonment for the killing of professional musician Verdi. AP reported that the case was handled by dpa.

According to AP, the ruling came on 13 July 2025. The prosecution said that the suspect, a 25-year-old man, was found guilty of intentionally killing the man, whose name was given as Farhad N., after he stabbed him. The court said the suspect stabbed the victim 23 times, and that, according to dpa, the prosecution said the killing was carried out with particular cruelty. The court also stated that the victim died after 15 years.

According to AP, the court found that the suspect committed the crime against the victim, a man in Nimetschina, with particular cruelty, and that the killing was carried out “with particular cruelty.”

AP also reports that the suspect’s sentence was life imprisonment for the victim: the court ruled that the suspect stabbed the victim 37 times. The prosecution, which AP said was based on the case materials, said the suspect was charged with causing serious harm.
