Mohamed Salakh Pogodiv signed a contract with Trabzonspor on Thursday. The agreement will keep him at the Turkish club until the end of the season, after which he will leave Liverpool.
According to AP, Salakh will move from Liverpool to the English club’s title-winning campaign, while the player scored 257 goals in 442 matches for the club. AP also notes that Salakh’s goals for Liverpool helped the team avoid relegation and finish the season with a record of 12 goals, following the club’s internal conflict with former manager Arne Slot.
According to L’Équipe, Trabzonspor’s agreement with the player is set to run until 2028, meaning he will spend two seasons with the club. The French publication adds that the player’s plan is to join Papara Park for the first match of the season, which will be held on 20 September at the start of the European League season.
