Woman, 47, who was stabbed in the back near Covent Garden

A 47-year-old woman was stabbed in the back near Covent Garden, police said.

Officers were called to Endell Street in Covent Garden at around 12.30pm on Thursday after reports that a woman aged 34, 39, 42 and 56 had been stabbed.

Stella Gollovena, who was found to have been stabbed in three places with a knife, was taken to hospital.

Stella Gollovena appeared in court on charges of causing grievous bodily harm at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. London Ambulance Service said it took three patients to hospital for treatment.

She was discharged from hospital. The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Police said the woman was stabbed in the back near Endell Street. The suspect was arrested in the area.
